As a disabled person and employee, creating and supporting disability access and understanding within corporate DE&I initiatives is a lifelong passion of mine.

Deaf & Hard of Hearing Influencers, American Sign Language, & Hip Hop: Accessibility Goes Viral
This multimedia project examines the viral phenomenon of ASL (American Sign Language) interpreters at live concerts and festivals and the intersectionality of disability rights, disability access, Deaf and hard of hearing content creators, social justice, and hip hop. One Transgender Veteran’s Story
It’s estimated that over 134,000 American veterans are transgender, and over 15,000 trans people currently serve in military. Due to discrimination and lack of access to medical care, transgender veterans are at a higher risk of dying by suicide, living in poverty, and experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

In 2017, former President Trump signed a directive that effectively banned otherwise qualified transgender Americans from serving in the military.
On January 25th, 2021 President Biden signed an executive order allowing all qualified Americans to serve their country in uniform, effectively repealing the previous administration’s ban.
